Andrew Lanning
Andrew Lanning
Integrated Security Technologies, Co-founder

Honolulu based low-voltage electrical contracting firm specializing in physical security system design, implementation, and maintenance since 1998. Mr. Lanning began his electronics career in 1982 studying COBOL, Fortran, and ASSEMBLER. He earned a combat-action ribbon for duties performed in the Persian Gulf while serving the United States Navy from 1985-1993. Andrew Lanning majored in Psychology and Anthropolgy at the University of Hawaii, and published his communications master’s thesis at Hawaii Pacific University in 2011 - Tsunami Warning Sirens: Perceptions of Oahu Publics.

IST has been selected as a preferred provider of security system installations and services for municipal government in Hawaii, and DOD facilities throughout the Pacific. IST's commercial clientele include all vertical market segments with the exception of nuclear power. IST was been nominated as one of Hawaii's Best Places to Work (Small Business Category) in 2011, 2013, 2014, and again in 2015.


Jeffrey Harris

Jeffrey Harris is the partner, and husband of Deidre Harris. Together they have developed the concept of The Rhelm and implemented the first adventure, “The Trouble in Wentrus Village”, in July 2013 at Aloha Tower Marketplace with the limited funds in their savijngs account and the assistance of many friends.

Jeffrey Harris has been the region-marketing director for a large family recreation organization since September 2003. During his tenure, he planned and implemented the first online activity management system for customers to register and pay for services from mobile devices, including smart phones, tablets and kiosks.

Mr. Harris also served as the lead on the worldwide development of the organization's website.

Mr. Harris was formally the principle owner of Frontier Interactive, inc., a multimedia production agency based in New York and servicing the manufacturing and pharmaceutical industries since 1991. During the business' operation, Mr. Harris led efforts in acquiring and maintaining a customer base, which included McKinsey & Company, Pfizer, and Wyeth, McNeal, and Johnson & Johnson.

Mr. Harris envisioned and developed the Front-Office System, an electronic sales reporting system, which combined time, expense and inventory reports for the manufacturing industry as an off-the shelf product.

Mr. Harris wrote and produced the PBS documentary "Sending Out The Light", on the history of America's lighthouses. He has won five awards for his work in marketing and advertising, including the National Recreation and Parks Association's "Behind the Scenes" award for marketing.

Mr. Harris is an adjunct professor of business management and a member of the strategic planning committee at Hawai'i Pacific University. He is active in supporting the local community around Kapolei by serving on the board of Onemalu Transitional Shelter, housing 40 families.

Mr. Harris has a B.S. in Public Communication from Syracuse University and a M.B.A from Hawai‘i Pacific University.

Born on February 13th, 1963, Mr. Harris resides in Kapolei, Hawaii and has two grown children.

Hawai'i Acting State Auditor

Jan K. Yamane is the Hawai‘i Acting State Auditor. Prior to assuming this role in December 2012, Jan was the Deputy Auditor/General Counsel for the Office of the Auditor.

Jan has over 20 years of experience in state government and holds a BA from Vassar College; MA from Harvard University; JD from the Richardson School of Law, University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa; and MBA from Hawai‘i Pacific University.


James Owen

Coral Crater Adventure Park, Developer

James Owen is the developer of Coral Crater Adventure Park, an eco-playground with ziplining, off-roading, climbing, and other outdoor activities. Coral Crater Adventure Park is located in Kalaeloa, Kapolei and is scheduled to open in late 2015.

Prior to that, he was a business consultant, advising clients in online marketing and tourism in Hawaii and southeast Asia. He spent 15 years leading Discover Hawaii Tours, a Honolulu based tourism company. As president of Discover Hawaii Tours, he oversaw statewide operations and grew the company into a multi-million dollar brand.

James holds a Master of Business Administration from Hawaii Pacific University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Hawaii Pacific University. James is a board member of the Rotary Club of Metropolitan Honolulu.

Central Pacific Bank, Senior Vice President

Garrett Grace is the Senior Vice President of Central Pacific Bank. He has held this position for the past 14 years. With this title, Garrett works with corporate, commercial banking, and lease financing. Between May 2000 and April 2001, Mr. Grace was the Vice President of Sun Industries. Prior to that, Mr. Grace was the Corporate Banking Officer for Bank of Hawai’i for seven years, and manager at Shamrock Civil Engineering for two years.

Garrett got his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Hawaii Pacific University in 1996, in 1988 Mr. Grace graduated from HMAS Nirimba, Australian Navy, with Marine Engineering. He then went on to work as an Engineer in the royal Australian Navy between 1986-1991. Mr. Grace also received a graduate degree from Pacific Coast Banking School in 2007.


Gordon Bruce

Prior to being appointed President and CEO of Pacxa, Gordon served as the Director of the Department of Information Technology and Chief Information Officer for the City and County of Honolulu for the past 8 years. Under Gordon’s leadership, the City & County of Honolulu has received numerous awards and recognitions for the use of technology including the prestigious Digital Cities Surveys Winner for 2011 (ranking Number 1 in the large city category), Sunny award for transparency, Best Fit Integrator, and KPMG Global 100 for Innovation. Gordon brings over 40 years of experience and has worked for organizations such as the Estate of James Campbell where he served as the CIO and Vice President of Administration. He has also worked at The Queen’s Medical Center, Bank of Hawaii, and the Corporation City of Toronto.

He is a recipient of the Paul C.T. Loo award from Hawaii Pacific University and was recently recognized as one of the top 25 “Doers, Dreamers, and Drivers” in the United States by Government Technology Magazine.
